Tau Sigma National Honors Society at UC Riverside
An honors society JUST for transfer students! A transfer student like YOU. Tau Sigma National Honors Society is specially designed to promote academic and personal excellence and involvement of transfer students here at UC Riverside. Bering part of Tau Sigma will give you a network of thousands of high achieving transfer students that come from all around the country. Tau Sigma is there to provide academic, charitable, and social opportunities all year round.
If you transferred from another academic institution to UCR, and you received a 3.5 GPA or higher in your first quarter here, you will receive a special invitation by email in Winter quarter to join Tau Sigma! Tau Sigma offers lifetime membership so that you'll always be part of the Tau Sigma network.

PUENTE Connection Club
The Puente Connection Club at UCR is a community based organization. They support Puente scholars that have transferred from community college and high school to UCR. They strive to have a comfortable and inspiring atmosphere that promotes higher education by helping one another succeed and achieve their academic goals in the university. Puente Connection strives to inspire the youth by providing the necessary tools and advice to continue their education at a four-year institution.
